Refrigerated Division
Morristown Driver's Service, Inc. operates a refrigerated division, utilizing state-of-the-art reefer equipment. This division handles frozen foods, fresh produce and other refrigerated products. Business includes both regional and coast-to-coast. The coast-to-coast operation appeals to drivers that prefer to run longer hauls on a weekly basis.

Regional Line Haul
MDS operates over-the-road tractors and van trailers on a regional line haul basis. Our units in the regional line haul operation haul a wide range of commodities, including food products, textiles, medical supplies and aluminum. Our regional operation gives us the ability to attract quality drivers who want to be home on weekends..

Short Line Haul
Morristown Drivers Service handles short-haul loads and local shuttles for several customers. This operation offers quality service, while assuring that these drivers are home often.

Equipment and Personnel
Morristown Driver's Service, Inc. operates a power unit fleet of 130 tractors, 185 van trailers, and 50 refrigerated trailers.

Tractors
All MDS, Inc. units are powered by reliable, fuel-efficient, professionally maintained diesel engines. Air ride suspension, power steering and air conditioning are only a few of the additional features our tractors have. While these features allow for our driver's comfort and safety, they also serve to boost morale and provide a more comfortable work place.

Trailers
Our trailers include vented dry vans and refrigerated units. Our trailers are 48' or 53' in length and 102" wide, which allows for maximum use of trailer capacity.

Drivers
Morristown Driver's Service, Inc. recognizes that our drivers are our most valuable assets, and that the success of the company is largely determined by the quality of our employees. Because of this belief, we are committed to hiring only qualified drivers. We have developed hiring qualifications that meet or exceed all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations as well as the professional standards developed by MDS, Inc..

On-Site Maintenance
At MDS, Inc., service is what we're all about, and our equipment is some of the best maintained on the road today. Our tractors are PM'd every five weeks or 15,000 miles, and are pre-tripped by a mechanic every week. Trailers are serviced every 60 days and also go through a five point inspection every weekend. We staff 7 full-time maintenance employees and operate a minimum of 17 hours per day, everyday.
